Photographer Mart Engelen’s passion for print and black-and-white photography led to his one-man project “#59 Magazine”. He publishes his best photographs in his own magazine, which highlights a global dialogue on cultural heritage in our daily existence, showcasing interviews and striking black-and-white photography. Every issue quickly becomes a sought-after collector’s item.

Covering subjects as varied as world affairs and art, politics and music, business and wealth and icons and rebels, #59 Magazine is a niche publication which comes out three times a year.

Inspired by the words of Helmut Newton and the idea of being given the freedom to go out and create without the involvement of committee. Wild Dogs in Paris was conceived as an idea to promote work free of restrictions, to showcase work both personal and professional, to promote work that has a strong voice. We believe in exceptional talent and exceptional projects and stories.
